We The Kings

Hello everyone!

Last Wednesday, I finally got to see one of my favorite bands. If you haven't heard of We The Kings, you can check out their music here. Three of the members of the band are also YouTubers and have daily vlog channels. You can check those out too! Here are the channels for Travis ClarkDanny Duncan, and Charles Trippy.

We The Kings had a show two hours from where I live at the university that my friend goes to, so I also got the opportunity to see a friend I hadn't gotten to hang out with in a while.

As soon as I got to the city, my friend and I went straight to the venue. We were hoping to see the band, and we did!

This is Travis Clark, the lead singer. He is such a nice guy! When we saw him and asked for pictures he stopped and talked to us for a really long time.

Here I am with the drummer, Danny Duncan. This picture is super blurry because I was so nervous and excited that my hands were shaking really bad!

And here is Charles Trippy, the bass player!

They were all so nice to us! I also saw Hunter Thomson, the guitar player, but I was too shy to go up to him and ask for pictures since no one else did. I'm really regretting it!

About 20 minutes before the doors were supposed to open, the fire alarms starting going off and we all had to evacuate. After standing in the rain for about 40 minutes, we were finally able to go back inside. We hadn't been inside very long when the alarms went off AGAIN. That time we only had to stay outside for about 10 minutes. Not long after going back inside, they started letting us in. I managed to get a spot in the very front row. I was leaning against the stage the whole time. I was right in front of where Charles stood during the show.

The show was AMAZING! The opening bands were Windsor Drive and Quietdrive. Both bands were really good. I had seen Windsor Drive a few times before.

Then it was time for We The Kings!!!! They sounded absolutely amazing, they were hilarious, and it was so much fun!!!

I got Travis Clark's guitar pick (on the left), and my friend got Charles Trippy's (on the right).

I still can't believe that it really happened! I first discovered this band and their YouTube channels in 2011 and have been wanting to see them and meet them ever since. I keep having to remind myself that it all really happened!

Their music is amazing and their videos are great, too. I really recommend checking both out!!

Do you listen to We The Kings?
What songs do you like?
Have you ever been to one of their concerts?

xx
